Cox, Resident of this city since 1892, died at home of son in New Mexico. "Old Age" cause of death: Was over 70 years of Age. Burial Place Here Mrs. H.D. Cox, (Delphia) a resident of this city since the Cheyenne and Arapaho Coutnry was opened to settlement, died in New Mexico at the home of her son, recently, as a result of old age. She was buried in the Cheyenne Cemetery on Friday. Bro. Gilliam, pastor of the Methodist Church conducted the funeral ceremony. When the news reached this place of her death her many friends here were saddened She was omnipresent in the affections of her fellow townsmen, because of her devoted Christian life--one that was sacrificing. She helped make lighter many of the burdens of pioneer life. When doctors were few she was oft at the bedside of the sick and the dying. To children survie her death. They are Mrs. Jennie Berry and Mr. Don Cox. They were present at her burial. The Star extends condolation to the bereaves oned.
