(Susie E. Stovall) Crawl, wife of J.B. Crawl of the Dempsey community, died at the home of her brother George A. Stovall, 805 North Broadway, City, Saturday, November 13, 1926. Mrs. Crawl had been at the home of her brother in this city for the past six months on account of illness. The family homestead in the country in 1901 and had resided here since that time. Mrs. Crawl was a member of the Christ of Christ and lived a devoted Christian life. There were no children. The deceased is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Moore Taylor of Kaufmann, Texas; three brothers, J.A. Stovall, of this city, J.D. Stovall of Granite and W.L. Stovall of Scurry, Texas. Funeral services were conducted at the Dempsey cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, following the removal of the long funeral possession from the Stovall home here. Rev. Hackaday of Hollis, Oklahoma conducted the services and interment made in the Dempsey cemetery.
