Creason, 65, a resident of Roger Mills county for more than a quarter of a century and a resident of this city for four years, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Broadway Methodist Episcopal church, South. The final rites were read by Rev. E.C. Webb, pastor of the church. Mrs. Creason died at 8:30 o'clock last evening in a city hospital following a major operation which she underwent five days before. Mrs. Creason has not possessed good health for the past two years. Her condition became worse a week ago Sunday and the operation was performed on Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Creason moved to Elk City four years ago from their farm four miles west of Berlin, having homesteaded there in 1904. They have lived at 621 North Jefferson street since residing in this city. Mrs. Creason was born in Fairfield, Iowa, April 26, 1865. She has been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, south, for 41 years, being active in church work until her health failed. She was married to O.H. Creason, January 3, 1884 and moved soon afterward to Purcell, later settling near Berlin. Immediate members of the family surviving Mrs. Creason and her husband, Mr Creason and six children, four daughters and two sons. They are: Mrs. John Riggs, of Sayre, Mrs. Dulcie Bates, Mrs. George Givens, and Miss Vivian Creason of this city and Luther Creason of Sasakwa, and Paul Creason of this city. Burial was in the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Killough-Jullum, funeral directors, were in charge. Relatives who attended the funeral rites are: a sister, Mrs. I.C.
