Davie was born August 19, 1934 in Foss, Oklahoma to Ora and Fred Davie. He passed away May 18, 2000 at his home in Redyon, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years, 8 months and 29 days. Jack attended school at Stafford. He married Essie Digby on December 11, 1954 and to this union 3 children were born. He later married Pat Brown at Guthrie, Oklahoma on November 26, 1968. Jack worked as an electrician and belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 564 of Tulsa. Jack and Pat both had followed construction since 1981. They moved to Reydon in 1987 to make their home. He was a member of the Reydon Community Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; a baby brother, Lee Roy; a granddaughter, Jamie Sides; and a stepdaughter, Cheryl Brown. He is survived by his wife, Pat, of the home; two daughters, Iris Baker and husband Guy, Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Teresa Walker, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; one son, Doug Davie and wife, Tammy,Elk City, Oklahoma; three stepsons, Earl Brown and wife, Donna, Glencoe, Oklahoma, Vince Brown and wife, Carol, Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Edward Brown of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 2 sisters-in-law, Hazel and Jake Gholston, Muldrow, Oklahoma, and Betty and Lewis Jones, Van Buren, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held May 19, 2000 at 2:30 p.m. at the Reydon Community Church, officiated by Alberta Helton.
