Interment was made in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Rev. J.. Carleton, pastor of the Baptist church at Cheyenne, delivering the funeral sermon. She leaves to mourn her untimely departure her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Davis and two sisters, Clesta and Etta Fay, of Roll; her grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Davis, of Crawford and a host of other relatives and friends. Virgie Mae had endeared her self to all that knew her by the charm of her personality and every-present smile that was bestowed upon all whom she met. She was active in community affairs, and was supremely happy when endeavoring to lighten the burden of others. There is little that loving friends can say that will lessen the poignancy of the grief that her parents and other relatives fell because of the death of their loved one. For consolation they will look to "Him who does all things well", remembering that "God Gives and God takes away..." Virgie Mae's mission upon this earth had been accomplished, and her spirit is now in that land where there is no sickness or death.
