The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== Mary Louise Dickey was born February 5, 1917 at Dempsey, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma February 5, 1917 to Webster and Harriet Frankford and died near Coquille, Oregon August 19, 1999, in a car accident. She was the youngest of four children. She married Leston Dickey October 16, 1934 and had two children while living in Oklahoma. In the early 40's she and her family moved to California and then later to Oregon. She has lived in Myrtle Point, Oregon for the past 45 years. She retired from the Myrtle Point School District where she did custodial work. She spent many hours working in her yard and enjoyed all the flowers that she grew. She loved spending time with her family and visiting with her friends and neighbors. Mrs. Dickey was a member of the First Christian Church and a faithful quilter with the Ladies Aide. She also belonged to the Myrtle Point Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leston Dickey in 1985; brothers, Fred Frankford in 1997, Ruben Frankford in 1949 and R.J. Frankford in 1992. Her survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Marcel Dickey, a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Eldon Sams all of Myrtle Point, 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and 4 nieces.
