All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Dickey, Purdy, Turner, Farney, Zybach, Burns, Clark, Hayes Funeral services for Mrs. Sharlotte Dickey, mother of Mrs. Bee Burns of Cheyenne, were held Tuesday afternoon at Reydon with Rev. J.L. Davis and Rev. J.F. Keith in charge of the services. Mrs. Dickey died at the home of Mrs. Bee Burns Saturday, April 25, 1953 after a long illness. Mrs. Dickey was born June 24, 1867 at Jasper County, Iowa. She was married to Richar Dickey in Iowa. A long time member of the Methodist church at Reydon, she came to Reydon in 1903 from Kansas where she had resided until a year ago when she came to Cheyenne. Her husband preceded her in death in 1937. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Mary Purdy, Morroco, California, Mrs. Bertha Turner, Pampa, Texas, Mrs. Mary Farney, Paradise, California; Mrs. Annie C. Zybach, Briscoe, Texas, Mrs. Nellie Burns, Cheyenne, six sons, William H. Dickey, Everett, Washington, Alvin, Reydon, Glen, Woodland, California, Clyde, Mobeetie, Texas, Howard,Mayfield, Leston, FallsCity, Oregon; three brothers, Ed, Denver, Colorado, Robert, Ogden, Utah, and Lawrence Longgeo, Maxwell, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Clark, Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Pamella Hayes, Chapman, Kansas. Committal was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
