Bart MONTGOMERY officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Bill was born December 1, 1939 in Hammon, Oklahoma and passed away Monday evening at the age of 50. He was raised in the Herring Community. In 1958 he graduated from Hammon High School. Following graduation he went to work for Red Johnson Ford for a short time. He then moved to California until 1971 when he moved back to Elk City were (where) he owned and operated a garage until 1982. He move(d) to Spokane, Washington where he lived until 1987 when he returned to Elk City. Survivors include one son Clayton Gunter DYKES and one daughter Erica Marie DYKES both of Spokane, Washington. Two brothers Joe DYKES of Houston, Texas and Teddy DYKES of Sacramento, California. Two sisters: Marlene GOODMAN of Wichita, Kansas and Orvilla REDD of Yukon, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
