Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Moiety Cemetery with Alberta Helton of the Reydon Community Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Usage, Amarillo, Texas. Mr Docking was born in Melborne, Arkansas. He moved to Moiety in 1971 from Wheeler. He worked as a cowboy around Wellington, Memphis, and Moiety. He had also worked for the M.C. May Company as a steel hanger. He retired in 1971. He married Rose Mary Hamster in 1961 at Wheeler, Texas. Mr Docking was a Christian. Survivors include his wife of the home, 2 daughters; Ivan Marie Procure and her husband Larry of Amarillo, and Lisa Rose Barton of Moiety, 1 brother Early Docking and wife Gwen of Washborn, 2 sisters: Katherine Hemphreys and her husband Don of Wheeler and Kathleen Mote and her husband Eugene of Wellington, 4 grandchildren; Dena Allen, Desire O'Donnell, Haley Barton and Kasey Barton, and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Dockins will be available for viewing at the First Baptist Church of Mobeetie from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. The family requests memorial donations to the Don and Cybil Harrington Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Rexas 79101.
