Raymond Daugherty

HOOKER, Okla. - Raymond "Red" "Pod" Daugherty, 85, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 
1999. 

Services will be at 4 p.m. today in the Hooker High School Auditorium with 
the Rev. David Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Hooker Cemetery by 
Roberts Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Daugherty was born in Grimes. He married Bufford Okeemah Isch in 1939 
at Cheyenne. They lived in Grimes until 1951 when they moved to Hooker. He 
was in charge of maintenance for the Hooker public schools until 
retirement. 

He was preceded in death by two infant sons, another son, Lamarr, and a 
daughter, Rhonda Sue McLaughlin. 

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard and Justin, both of Hooker; 
three daughters, Barbara Ann Keith of Optima, and Linda Journagan and Dixie 
Snook, both of Adams; two sisters, Beulah Isch of Clinton and Bertha Ellis 
of Holbert; 34 grandchildren; and 62 great-grandchildren.
