Was married to Benjamin F. Dudney, September 5, 1872, at Corsicana, Texas, died at her home west of town Sunday, May 19, 1912. "Smooth the locks of silver hair, On our mother's brow with tendest care. Gather the robe in final fold Around the form so still and cold; Lay on her bosom, pure as snow. The fairest, sweetest flowers tha grow. Kiss her and leave he our hearts delight; Her pain is over she sleeps tonight." After a long, busy and useful life she died as she had lived-honored, trusted and loved. She reared her own monument while she lived in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was completed if work all done and well done constitutes completion. She was a member of the Christian Church, and her life was beautiful from its beginning to its close, and though all the vicissiotudes and sorrows that she met in the way, her faith in God never wavered. She was the mother of two children, Joe and Lee. The former was laid to rest in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Her husband also was called home during the same year. Lee her youngest son the only survivor of the family lives on his farm in the Redmoon vicinity. The Star with his many friends wafts to him and his, condolents in this sad hour. The funeral ceremony was conducted by Rev. W.C.
