He passed from this lfie on Monday, Arpil 26, 1993, at his home near Foll, Oklahoma while working in his garden, asn activity which he so greatly enjoyed. Clyde Denney completed his formal education in the Red Star School near his home. On Oct. 8, 1932, Clyde Hershel Denney and Ollie Mae Currier were united in marriage in the home of Carl Deans. The home was established in the Red Star Community where their son, David Lee, and two daughters, Naomi and Wilma were born. In 1950, when Clyde Hershel Denney reached the age of 40 years, he felt that the Lord had called him to preach the Gospel. Clyde answered the call, was baptized in a farm pond near Three Corners, and became a member of the Brethren In Christ Church. He then began his many years of spreading the gospel, first at Three Corners Church, where he served for 7 years, then continued his gospel work at Red Star where he served faithfully for 33 years, making a totla of 40 years doing work which he felt that the Lord had called him to do. In 1962, the Clyde Denney family moved to Roll, OK where he has lived these past 31 years. Brother Denney's special interests outside his ministerial field of work, was gardening, doing mechanical work, and visiting with his many friends. The special person, who loved so deeply, his Lord, his Church, and his family, and a multitude of freinds in this area of the state, will be greatly missed, but the influence of a godly life shall live on through the years. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Katgherine Denney, his devoted wife, Ollie Mae Currier Denney, seven brothers, Tim, Fred, Jim, John, George, Samson and Paul, and three sisters, Alice, Lavonda, and Evelyn.
