Wayne Ivey and Rev. Frank Conner officiating. Burial following in the Red Star Cemetery. Mr. Dean becam ill at his home and was dead on arrival at Community Hospital Wednesday night August 17, 1977. Mr. Dean was born June 20, 1924, and was 53 years of age. He was born and had lived in Roger Mills County all of his life. He attended school at Union Center until 8th grade and finished highschool at Hammon. He was very active in the Round Up Club of Hammon; was a member of the B.P.O.E. at Elk City; and was a member of the United Mehtodist Church at Hammon. He served his country for 2 years during World War II in the U.S. Army in the European theatre.
