Memorial services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Cheyenne First Baptist Church. Officiating was Rev. Aubrey Cowan. Born February 25, 1942 at Berlin he attended the Berlin School and had always lived in the Berlin Community. He married Vicky Ray Smith at Willow February 9, 1961. He was a dairy farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant son. Survivors are his wife of the home; 2 daughters, Bobby Kay and Bennie Kay and 2 sons, Stoney Ray and Jesse Ray all of the home; 5 sisters, Mrs. Lucille LaForce of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Mildred Crayton of Clinton, Mrs. Dorothy McLean of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Lorraine Cook of Cheyenne, Mrs. Georgia Adams of Fullerton, Miss; 7 brothers, Marvin of Wichita, Kansas, Guy of Sayre, Clifford of Oklahoma City, Ray of Amarillo, Texas; Leon of Gruver, Texas, Kenneth of Prescott, Arizona, Jack of Claude, Texas.
