Mr. Davis was of a ripe old age and had lived in this locality for many years. He was a member of the Baptist church and had many warm friends in the locality. He had for many weeks been a great _____ (can't read). Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church by Rev. Twitty, local pastor, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Cheyenne cemetery. The Star joins the many friends of Uncle Jo in offering sympathy to the bereaved family.
