He passed away November 13, 2008 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 30 years, 9 months and 19 days. Ryan grew up in the Boise and Meridian, Idaho communities before moving to California in 1991 where he graduated from Lynbrook High School and later attended San Jose State University. He entered the United States Army in 2001 and served his country during Operation Iraqi Freedom unith his discharge in 2005. He worked on fishing boats in Washington before moving to Cheyenne in September of 2007 where he began working for the City of Cheyenne. He was married to Tina Denise Keys Davis in Wheeler, Texas on September 19, 2008. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathryn Collins. Surviveed by his wife, Tina, Step Daughters, Kaitlyn Porter, and Jessica Porter, both of the home, 3 Children, Alma Davis, and Joey Davis, and Mika Davis, His Parents, Tom Davis, and Lisa Corklin and husband, Paul, 3 Brothers, Nathan Davis and wife, Yvonne, and Shawn Davis and his wife, Brandy, and Justin Davis, 1 Step Brother, Mike Conklin and wife, Glenda, 1 Step Sister, Barbara Armstrong and husband, Travis, host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were held Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 10:30 am at Cheyenne First Baptist Church officiated by Jeff Hulbut. Interment followed at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Lawton, Oklahoma.
