Obit for Rutha Amanda Allen Evans

Rutha Amanda Allen Evans, Cheyenne, died Satruday night October 21, 1967 in the 
Roger Mills county hospital after and extended illness.  Services were held in 
the Baptist church in Cheyenne, Oklahoma.

She was born November 11, 1892 at Blair, Oklahoma.  Mrs. Evans was united in 
marriage on March 22, 1906 to Clifton Evans at Granite, Oklahoma.

Preceding her in death were her husband Clifton; one daughter Marion Louise, 
one grandson Melton Russell Morton, and her father Gransville Allen.

Survivors are four daughters, Dora Mayfield, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Pauline Webb, 
Norwalk, California; Inza Woods, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Cora morton, Whittier, 
California; and one son Charles Evans of Tucumcari, New Mexico; Twenty 
grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren, and Mother Emma Allen of 
Hammon, Oklahoma.

Three brothers, John, Jess and Bill Allen, all of Hammon, Oklahoma, four 
sisters, Addie Spurlock, Elk City, Oklahoma; Arlena Jones, Beeville, Texas; 
Irene Linebarger, Tulare, California; and mur Gwartney of Hammon, Oklahoma; 
and a host of relatives and friends.  She was a long time member of the 
Baptist church.

Committal in Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
