Burial was at the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Mr. Evans died September 14, 1985 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma city. He was born June 17, 1930 in Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School, Sayre Junior College and the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Evans was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked for Union Carbide Company, eventually becoming president of the company's Presto Welding Supply subsidary of Oklahoma City. He retired in June and moved to Cheyenne with his wife Jo Ann Lorenski whom he married March 14, 1982. Mr. Evans was a member of the American Welding Society.
