She lived her early life in the Reydon area. On November 25, 1939 she was married to Jake Edward Estes in Reydon, OK. In 1943 they moved to the Wichita, Kansas area and returned to Reydon in 1945 where they made their home until they moved to Cheyenne in April 1978. Survivors included her husband, Jake of the home; three daughters, Edna Mae Allen, Grand Prairie, Texas; Gloria Fay Lemke, Crawley, Texas; and Judy Kay Briix, Waukomis, OK; one son, Donald Estes of Canute; eight grandchildren and two sisters: Eva Wilson of Dumas, Texas and Jewell Purvine of clearwater, Kansas and one brother, Jimmy Cline of Cheyenne. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, May 4, 1983 at 2:30 p.m. with Eddie Overstreet and Lynn Heard officiating. Interment followed in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Services of Cheyenne.
