The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== Ida Mae Davis Ezzell, was born February 16, 1908 in Fort Worth, Texas, and departed this life October 5, 1987, in Fort Smith Hospital, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Ida Mae grew up in the Strong City area, graduating from Strong City High School in 1927. She attended Southwestern College in Weatherford, and taught school in Roger Mills County. She married Frank Ezzell in April, 1928. They made their home in Strong City and later moved to Fort Smith to be near a son. She was a member and a Sunday School teacher at the Trinity Church of Nazarene in Fort Smith. She is survived by four sons, Adeen of Fort Smith, Tom of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Don and Bill both of Tulsa; five sisters, Effie Lee Groves of Lake Isabella, California, Alta Scott and Ruby Daw of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Francis Scott of Strong City, Oklahoma, and Bernice Ashley of Jacksonville, Texas; a brother Weldon Davis of Strong City; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 1987 in the Church of Nazarene in Sayre, Oklahoma. Burial was in the Delhi Cemetery. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
