Alvin Baker and Rev. Jess Haney officiating. Burial was in the Butler cemetery, Custer county, Oklahoma. Mrs. Easley died from an accidentally discharged double-barrel shot gun while hunting rabbits near her home on March 5, 1951. It is believed that Mrs. Easley's tragic death came while she was getting through a barbed-wire fence. Survivors are her husband, two sons, Val Gene and Gary Ronald; her father, Mr. Thompson, Snyder; four sisters, Mmes. J.K. Miller, Olen Adams, A.E. Studdard, Fletcher Otwell, all of Snyder; three brothers, R.H. Thompson, Lawton, A.F. Thompson, Coalingo, California, Manley Thompson, Hobart, Oklahoma.
