She was born and raised in Leedey, Oklahoma and graduated from high school there. She was married to Jackie J. Eaton at Cheyenne. Following their marriage in 1956, they moved to Lodi, California. She had been employed for the past 21 years for Tri-Valley Growers as a laboratory attendant. She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by; her husband, Jackie J. Eaton of Stockton, CA 2 sons, Bradley Eaton of Lodi, California and Randy Eaton of Lodi, California; 3 sisters, Virgie Cornett of Higgins, Texas, Jean Touchstone of Leedey, Oklahoma and Hazel Lilies of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 1 brother Henry Pyeatt of Sweetwater, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by, 1 son, Gary Eaton; and 1 brother, Johnnie Lee Pyeatt. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 29, 1988, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave., Lodi, California, with Rev. James C. Pack of Faith Missionary Baptist Church of Concord, California, officiating. Committal was at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, California.
