Boyd Whitehead and Rev. Mike McDougan officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Della Leona Trent Elliott was born June 30, 1917, in Hancock County, Tennessee, and passed away early Monday morning. She came to Oklahoma from Tennessee at the age of 9. She attended Kiowa and Hammon schools. Mrs. Elliott was married to Rev. Horace Elliott on April 9, 1939, in the Kiowa community. She worked at the family grocery store in Stafford, and served school lunces at Hollis. When Mr. Elliot became ordained as a minister, she assumed the duties of a pastor's wife. They moved to Idabel in 1989, and Mr. Elliott preceded her in death on April 4, 1991. Survivors include: three children, Marvin Elliott of Idabel, Bob Elliott of Pauls Valley, and Marie Miller of Norman; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother, Dale Trent of Elk City; and four sisters, Etta Linville of Elk City, Victoria Elliott of Tow, Texas. Edna Mae Rogers of Clinton and Edith Ashley of Elk City.
