W.L. Magar, pastor, and H.M. Borum, Durham, officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills county, Oklahoma. Howard C. Elliott was born in 1898 at Weed, New Mexico, and passed away at his home near Hammon September 11, 1951. He came to Roger Mills county in 1926 and had redsided here sxnce. In 1944 he was married to Etta Trent. He was a member of the Baptist church at Hammon, and was a Mason. Survivors include his wife of the home; his father, J.T. Elliott, Marysville, California; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Hitt, Post, Texas, Mrs. Blanche De Garmo, Elk City; four brothers, Louie, Tommie and Horace Elliott, all of Hammon, and Lynwood Elliott, Moorewsood.
