Burial will be in the Sayre- Doxey Cemetery, Sayre, Oklahoma under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Perry Lee Fish was born July 18, 1910 in Lindsay to James A. and Virginia Powell Fish and died Sunday at the age of 85. He moved with his family at the age of 9 to the Hammon area. He was married to Arvie Lorraine Morton on June 15, 1929 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He started his farming career in the Hammon area in 1945 and in 1957 moved to Amarillo where Perry worked for the Coca Cola Bottling Company. Mrs. Fish preceded him in death in 1970. Mr. Fish moved to the Shawnee area some three years ago. Perry, like his father was an avid gardener. Survivors includce his children, Patsy Varnell of Sayre, Stanley Fish of Sayre, Lauwiona Ford of Amarillo, J.W. Fish of Meeker, Virginia Read of Elk City and Roxie Darlene Broyles of Amarillo; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters, John Fish of Tecumseh, Martha Jenkins of Elk City, Mary Birdwell of Elk City, Esther Harrel of Park Hill, Oklahoma, Earl Fish of hobbs, New Mexico, Ira Fish of Hobbs, New Mexico, Dorothy Boulward of Huntington Beach, California, Ruth Howard of Elk City and Raymond Fish of Snyder. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
