All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Fuchs, Daugherty, Wilson, Cooprider Geneva Mae Fuchs was born August 7, 1930 in Dempsey, Oklahoma to Josie Katherine and Clifford Modesta Daugherty. She passed away December 18, 2001 in the Great Plains Regional Medical Center at the age of 70 years, 4 months and 11 days. She attended school at Sunny Point before attending and graduating from Sweetwater High School. Geneva was married to Weldon Doyle Fuchs at Wheeler, Texas on March 3, 1949. They lived in the Mayfield community before moving to Colorado and New Mexico and before moving to Palmer, Alaska in 1961 where Doyle worked for RCA. They returned to western Oklahoma in 1971 to make their home. Doyle passed away in 1976. She was a member of the Sayre Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one daughter, Janice Elaine Fuchs, and one brother, Dewey Daugherty. Survivors include one daughter, Rita Wilson of Anchorage, Alaska; one son, Curtis Fuchs of Stillwater, Oklahoma; one sister, Lela Cooprider of Cheyenne, OKlahoma; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held Friday, December 22, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sayre Church of Christ, officiated by Andy Bennett and Richard Pope. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
