All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Focht Originally posted at: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/5YB.2ACE/2585 William Focht an old time resident of Wilcox township who had for many years resided in the vounty north of the Antelope Hills, died last Saturday, June 29, 1918 from a stoke of appoplexy. Mr. Focht had been to Durham and returning home having come to his pasture gate, opened it and driven through and closed it. He then got into the buggy and started to drive home when he suddenly expired. He had placed the lines over his shoulder evidently realizing his condition, thinking that should he become helpless, his team would carry him home, but he fell out of the buggy bruising his lfet breast. Mrs. Focht had started to the cow pen to do the milking when she saw the team standing near the gate. She went and found her husband dead. Mr. Focht was born March 14, 1849 being sixty nine years of age and had resided in the Bellview community about twelve years. He has two sons who are in the American army. Burial Bellview cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
