Services were held at 12:00 Tuesday, July 10, 1990, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Bowlin, pastor of First Baptist Church of Bushland, officiating. Burial followed in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Fegel, born in Prescott, Arkansas, had lived in Amarillo for 40 years. Her husband, Fred S. Fegel, preceded her in death in 1981. Survivors include: a daughter, Cindy Newkirk of Amarillo; a brother, Watson Wells of Garland; a sister, Edith Parish of Little Rock, Arkansas; a granddaughter, Tammy Newkirk of Amarillo; and a grandson, Toby Newkirk of Amarillo, Texas.
