David Flick, Rev. Gary Siebert and Rev. Mike McDougan officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Howard Elmer Flick was born March 23, 1896 in Newton Stewart, Inidana, and died early Friday morning June 14, 1991 at the age of 95. He came to Roger Mills County with his family at 11 years of age. Howard was married to Ola Linville Arpil 22, 1917 on the Roger Mills County Line. They established their home on a farm in Roger Mills County near Hammon and farmed until his retirement in 1959. Mr. Flick still remained active in farming by taking a special interest in his family farming endeavors. He was a member of the Pentecost Holiness church of Hammon and especially enjoyed singing gospel songs and attending gospel singing events. Mrs. Flick preceded him in death on September 4, 1987. Survivors include 3 children, John Flick and his wife Loy; Mary Hibler and her husband W. C. and Oscar Flick and his wife Sue, all of Hammon. Two brothers, Jake Flick of Fritch, Texas and George Flick of San Diego, Calif. Five sisters, Mary Smith of Borger, Texas; Lois Hubbard of Roll, Okla.; Callie Green of Clinton; Lila Rowell of Amarillo, Texas, and Beulah Odom of Phoenix, Ariz; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
