Bonner on Friday night, November 11, 1905. Fletcher had only been ill a short time when his illness developed into acute appendicitis. All that medical science and loving care could do was done but without avail. Friday afternoon an operation was decided upon as the onlly thing that could bring relief. The operation was performed in the afternoon of that day, but the little sufferer did not rally and late that night he quietly passed to the great beyond. The funeral services were held at the Baptist Church Saturday afternoon, Prof. Scott of the Cheyenne public schools, delivered the address, which was eloquent and touching and held out the consolation of a bright hereafter and happy meeting and reunion of loving ties when time shall have passed away. Fletcher was a general favorite among both young and old and his manly virtues and loving way made him loved by all who knew him. The sorrowing mother, sisters and brothers have the heartfelt sympathy of our entire community in their sad bereavement.
