Gerald Biswell and Rev. Gary Flynt officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Doris Antoinette Flynt was born January 7, 1906 at Butler to Dr. William Isaac and Rosa Belle Miller Basinger and died Tuesday at the age of 91. She graduated High School at Butler and continued her education at Hills Business College at Bethany. She was employed at a bank in Clinton for a time and on January 15, 1927 was married to Vernie J. Flynt at Elk City. They established their home east of Hammon where she has lived since. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hammon and worked as a helpmate to her husband in the farming activies. She was preceded in death, by her husband on June 23, 1974; her parents; and one brother, William M. (Bill) Basinger. Survivors include; four sons, Don Flynt and his wife Judy of Edmond, Jack Flynt and his wife Mary of Hooker, Billy Flynt of Hammon and Gene Flynt and his wife June of Guymon; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and her sister, Mrs. C.M.
