All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Fuller, Cornett, Tackitt, Robinson, Sullins, Cheateaux, Bidman, Snell, Mangold, Yardley, McGovern, Lovely Lois Dora Fuller, born October 29, 1915 in a dugout near Shirley, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma died June 21, 2001 at the Albany Care Center following a long illness. Lois, daughter of Boyd F. and Jessie E. Robinson Cornett, attended the Liberty Center and Texmo Schools in Oklahoma. Lois married Curtis Cecil Tackitt February 14, 1933 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Five children were born to them in Oklahoma; Cecil Eugene, Patty Joyce, Kenneth Wade, Dennis J. and Carol Sue. The family moved to Oregon in 1941 and settled in the Remond area where Curtis' parents and two brothers lived. Curits worked for the Spokane, Portland and Seattle railroad in the Redmond, Oregon area. In 1958 the family transferred to Sweet Home, Oregon and in 1959 to Albany, Oregon. After the death of her husband, Curtis Tackitt, in 1972, Lois married Lonnie Alvin Fuller in 1976. She was preceded in death by son Dennis Tackitt; brothers Paul and Glen Cornett and sisters Naomi Sullivan and Ruth Cheateaux. She is survived by husband Alvin Fuller, Albany, Oregon; sons Carl Tackett, Albany, Oregon, Kenneth Tackitt, Emmett, Idaho, daughters Patty Bidman of Prineville, Oregon and Carol Sue Cornett, Higgins, Texas, brothers, Bobby Cornett, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jessie Cornett, Littleton, Colorado, sisters Edith Snell, Reydon, Oklahoma and Eunice Mangold, Amarillo, Texas; four stepdaughters Angie Yardley and Sonja McGovern of Sweet Home; Rosean Fuller of Albany and Sandi Lovely of Vancover, Washington; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren. Lois was a member of the Chyurch of Christ, an excellent seamstress, an avid reader and loved to travel. In the last several years of her life she and Al traveled to see much of the United States in their pickup truck and travel trailer. A memborial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Aasum Funeral Home, with Pastor Dan Campbell officiating. A private inturment service will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
