She supported the Leedey School as a 4-H leader and cheered on the school youth in their athletic and other school events. She saw both her own children and her grandchildren through their school years and supported them every step along their way. Few peopled had a greater love of her savior, Jesus, and her church than did Lola Faye. She was active in all the First United Methodist Church's programs but especially liked working with the Methodist Youth Fellowship and participating in the united Methodist Women's quilting group. Lola Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Mae McCaslin; by two brothers, Eldon and Virgil McCaslin and by her beloved husband, M.H. Jr. who preceded her on December 16, 1999.
