He came to Eldoraado, Oklahoma as an infant living there until 1942 when he came to Roger Mills county residing in the Crawford community. He was converted at an early age and was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church at Crawford. He served with the 36 Division Co. F. 111th Supply Train during World War I in France. He was a member of the "Over There" VFW Post 112 Wichita, Kansas. He was married to Sallie Clyde Harris at Martha, Oklahoma July 3, 1921. He is survived by his wife of the home, Marjorie Massey, Wichita, Kansas, Dorothy Ator, Denver, Colorado, Roy E. Ford, Wichita, Kansas, Cheatham E. Ford, Cheyenne, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, other relatives and many firends. Interment in Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
