She passed away February 28, 2001 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years 6 months and 8 days. Lulu moved with her family to Oklahoma when she was five and they settled south of Cheyenne. She attended Eden View School and later married Thomas D. Ford at the Sayre United Methodist Church on January 30, 1917. They lived in Albuquerque, NM until October of 1939 when they moved south of Cheyenne. In 1974, they moved into Cheyenne to make their home. She was a member of Cheyenne First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son, Thomas Lavell, two sisters, one brother and two sons-in-law, Philip Thompson and Robert L. Trammell. She is survived by three daughters: Novella Thompson, Cordell, OK and her children, Richard Thompson, Pam Bryant and husband Robert, Edward Thompson, Novita Olson and husband Randy and grandchildren Tiffany Smith, Travis Thompson, Jennifer Bibrey, Jason Bibrey, Andrea Parton and husband Ronnie, Micheal Ptak, Danielle Ptak and Alton Olson and great grandchild, Allama Parton, Daughter Fern Trammell, Cheyenne, OK and her children, Regina Ford and husband Donnie; Robert Trammell and wife Jowana and grandchildren, Chandra Keahey, Marsha Keahey and Jeff Warren, Jonathan Keahey, Christopher Keahey, Donnie L. Ford, Jr., Bridget Ford, Jetta Trammell, Zane Trammell and great grandchild, Charlie Warren. And daughter Ellen Teague and husband Wildon and her daughters, Deborah Cowan, Diana Standiford and husband Alfred, Denise Parman and husband Randy and grandson, Joshua Randall and a host of relatives and friends. Services were held March 3, 2001 at 2:30 p.m. at Cheyenne First United Church, officiated by Rev. donald Harrold.
