Burial was under the direction of the Stanley Lee Funeral Home. Doyle was born July 6, 1917 at Hammon to Richard and Maude Fields Farmer and died in his home Monday, at the ate of 83. Doyle grew up in Wichita, Kansas and Hammon area. He attained most of his schooling in the Wichita Schools. He enlisted in the Merchant Marines during WWII. On August 22, 1939 he married Tina Marie Pace. They made their home in Wichita, Kansas and Hammon before settling in Clinton in 1951. Doyle worked for the Ford Body Shop and Vernon McClure Body Shop retiring in the early 1980's. He and his wife also owned several rental properties in Clinton. He was amember of the Baptist Church. He was precded in death by his parents; his wife, Marie; one sister, Sue Calahan; and one brother, Hubert "Bud" Farmer.
