Funeral services were Tuesday, November 22, 1994 at the Church of Christ in Cheyenne, Oklahoma with Truman Teal and Rev. Floyd Westfall officiating. Frederick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. William's parents were William Simeon Farmer and Sallie Rose Farmer. He was born on April 27, 1903 at Cheyenne, OK and was a member of the Church of Christ in Cheyenne. He was a 32nd Degree Mason at the Cheyenne Lodge. He was a farmer, rancher, and retired from State Highway Department. He is survived by his wife, Mattie Elizabeth Farmer of Elk City, OK; 1 son, Lonnie Leroy Farmer of Davidson, OK; 1 sister, Theresia Rachael Thomas of Elk city, OK; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, William Thurman Farmer in 1987, 5 sisters and his first wife, Dannie G.
