Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Nevels Cemetery in Tahoka under the direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home. Fred's family will receive friends today from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Fred was born July 16, 1958 in Fort Stockon to James Walker and Hazel (Henderson) Fleener. He grew up and graduated from school there. He married Ida Hagerman, daughter of Charles and Naomi Hagerman of Sweetwater, Oklahoma May 22, 1978 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God. Fred had been the pastor of churches in Pecos, Fairfield, and Associate Pastor in Fort Stockton. Survivors include his wife, Ida; son, Sgt. Fred Fleener, IV, stationed in Germany; a daughter, Whitney Faith Fleener of Lubbock. Also surviving are his mother, Hazel Chery of Winters; a sister, Mary Jane Duffy of Odessda; and one brother, Jimmy Fleener of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; along with numerous nieces aand nephews.
