(Frances Belle) Forgey, former Roger Mills County resident, who died Saturday in Community Hospital, was conducted from the Second & Adams Sts., Church of Christ Monday January 29th, 1973 at 2:00 p.m. with the pastor W.R. Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn cemetery. Mrs. Forgey was born July 17, 1887 in Jacksboro, Texas. She was 85 years. She came to Oklsahoma with her parents, the late Adam and Mary Jane Stults, at the turn of the century and they settled in Roger Mills County. She was married to Clone C. Forgey December 23, 1910 in the Kiowa communiy near Hammon. They resided in Roger Mills County until some 22 years ago, when they moved to Elk City, and have resided here since. She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ and was presently a member of the Second & Adams Sts. Church. Survivors include her husband of the home, also 3 daughters, Geneva and Lonis Forgey of the home and Mrs. Hershel Caylor of Elk City, also 2 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and a brother, Hobson Stults of the Carpenter community. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter. Martin Funeral Home is iun charge of arrangements.
