Fuchs, Jr. He passed away August 27, 2011 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, 1 month and 26 days. Hershel grew up in Sayre where he graduated from high school. He began working with his parents and brother, Carl, at Butcher Boy Meat Processing and continued there until ill health forced his retirement in 2000. Hershel lived on the farm west of Sayre before moving to the Weatherford Living Center in May of 2010 to be near his mother who was already a resident. Hershel was an avid John Wayne fan and loved watching his western movies and traveling with his mother. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Kitty, a niece, Dana, a nephew, Darren and a great niece, Darian Mackey. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Fuchs, Weatherford, OK; two children, Charlotte Fuchs, Midwest City, Oklahoma; Dustin Fuchs, Midwest City, OK; one sister, Carla Mackey and husband, Larry, Weatherford, Oklahoma; one Brother, Carl Fuchs and wife, Faye, Blanchard, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were held Tuesday August 30, 2011 at Rose Chapel officiated by Jimmy Dean. Burial followed at Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
