Obit for Harvey Allen Guy

Harvey Allen Guy, son of A.W. and Isabel Guy, was born May 11, 1880 at Van 
Wert, Iowa.  At an early age he came to northern Missouri with his parents 
and resided there until 1935 when he came to Oklahoma.

In 1906 he was united in marriage to Anna L. Abernathy at Sahl, Missouri.  
To this union one daughtrer, Ruth, was born.  Mr. Guy was more familiarly 
and affectionately known as "Pop".  He was a firm beliver in God and always 
worked faaithfully in the Methodist church.  "Pop" loved gospel songs and 
never missed an oppurtunity to sing praises unto God.  He had a cheerful
outlook on life, he loved people and was prepared and ready to meet God.  
Although "Pop" was 80 years and 4 months of age at the time of his passing 
he never seemed old as he was a man who never grew old.  He was preceded in 
death, by his wife in 1935.  His parents and 12 brothers and sisters also 
preceded him.  "Pop" is survived by his daughter, Mrs. C.A. Wood, Jr. and one
grandson, Robert Allen Wood all of Grimes, Oklahoma; also a host of nieces 
and nephews and a host of friends.

Burial in Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
