All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Gibson, Sanders, Breazeale, Mudez, McManus, Shafer, Clark Waiburn Chris Gibson was born November 13, 1921 in Sayre, Oklahoma and passed away June 4, 1990 in the Baptist Medical Center of Oklahoma City at the age of 68 years, 6 months and 22 days. Wailburn, the son of Marvin and Gladys Marie Gibson, lived in Sayre all of his life, except for the time during his duty with the Army in World War II. On August 27, 1947 he married Wanda Gail Sanders in Wheeler, Texas and he worked as a heavy equipment operator in Beckham County and surrounding counties for 32 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Gail of the home. Two daughters, Suzann Breazeale of Sayre and Kathy Mundez also of Sayre. Three half-sisters, Wana McManus of Casper, Wyoming; Beth Shafer of Kentland, Indiana, and Phoebe Clark of Aston, Oklahoma. Eight grandchildren, Melissa, Sean, Frank, Jr., Shane, Chris, Blake, P.J. and Wade. One great granddaughter, Tristyn DeAun and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were Wednesday June 6, 1990 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sayre Church of Christ with Eddie Beard and Ray Smart officiating. Burial was in the lone Oak Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Sayre.
