Gebhart Earl W. Gebhart, Leedey, Oklahoma, was at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 1968, at the Red Star Church, with Rev. Bernice Gebhart officiating. Burial was in the Red Star cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Earl was born May 9, 1905 in Old Greer county to Mr. and Mrs. Marshal Gebhart. He was baptized in a Christian church in his early years. He passed away Wednesday evening, September 4, 1968 with a heart attack while plowing in the field. Earl was married to Olivia Altus on September 26, 1939 in Lordsburg, New Mexico. They spent part of their married life in Arizona, coming to western Oklahoma on June 9, 1956. They lived northeast of Roll until purchasing a home southwest of Leedey, living there only four months. Earl is surved by his mother, Mrs. Gracie Gebhart, Strong City; wife Olivia, of Leedey; four sons, Bernice and Vernon, of California, James of Strong City and Jerry, of McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey; two daughters, Loretta hillips, of Arizona, and Margie Wardrop, of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
