All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Gabbart, Dean, Ames, Arbuckle Alvia Ames Gabbart, 96, was born Feburary 22, 1891 in Buffalo County, Nebraska to Herbert and Clara Dean Ames and passed away Sunday, January 10, 1988 at the Heart of the Valley Care Center. Alvia moved to Oklahoma at a very young age where she was raised and educated. She married William A. Gabbart in Canadian, Texas on November 10. 1910. He passed away several years ago. She was a homemaker. She moved to Philomath, Oregon in 1978 and to Corvallis just one month ago. Alvia was a member of the Eastern Star and Rebecca lodge, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Survivors include: Great grandson, Michael A. Gabbart of New Mexico; nephew, Henry Arbuckle of Corvallis, Oregon; nephew Alvin Arbucke of Corvallis, Oregon; several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, William Gabbart, Jr., and grandson, William Gabbart, III. Graveside services were Friday, January 22, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bluffton Cemetery, Bluffton, Texas under the direction of McHenry Funeral Home.
