Mahlon Dixon officiating. Burial was in the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, OK. Don was born February 18, 1920, at Strong City, where he attended school. He made his home in Edmond and Britton, where he was employed by the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for the past 23 years. He was married to Geraldine Carter Lindley at Waurika. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors are his wife, Geraldine, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Vern (Donna) Underwood of Bitton, OK and Mrs Bill (Dala) Logan of Houston, Texas; one step-daughter, Karen Lindley of Austin, Texas; 4 step-sons, Thomas Hester of Oklahoma City, Gaylon Hester of California, John Lindley of Oklahoma City, and George Lindley of Bitton, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. E.L.
