Funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church of Cheyenne with Rev. Loyd Martin and Fred Fudge officiating. He was the son of Mrs. P.E. Gillette and the late Phil Gillette. He was married to Helen Richardson at Ft . Smith, Arkansas, who preceded him in death March 16, 1973. He was a member of the Baptist Church, Little Rock, Arkansas. Survvivors include a daughter, Jo Ella Klos; her husband, Tommy and a grandson, Kevin; his moyther, Mrs. Phil Gillette; three brothers, Max Gillette, Unity, Maine, Jack Gillette, Wichita, Kansas, Joe Gillette, Stillwater, Oklahoma and a host of nieces and one nephew. Interment was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
