Gamble was born September 21, 1921 at Grimes, Oklahoma, the daughter of Luther and Ermine Turbyfill. She grew to womanhood in this community graduating from Cheyenne High School in 1940. In that year she married Grant Gamble of Reydon, Oklahoma. To this union two sons and one daughter were born: Jewrry and Lonnie of Midwest City and Glenda Tatum, of Oklahoma City. She received Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour in August of this year. After a long illness she passed away at their home at 3711 N. Drezel, Oklahoma City, December 23, 1970. Besides her family, she leaves two grandchildren, Jay and Jill Gamble; her father, Luther, of Cheyenne; three sisters, Letress Morris of Grimes; Dorothy Morris of Cheyenne and Katharine Westerburg of Coeur d Alene, Idaho. Her mother preceded her in death in November. Interment in Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
