All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Gamble, Brunson Timothy Aaron Gamble was born on November 25, 1972 in Sharmock, Texas and passed away October 10, 1990 near Shamrock at the age of 17 years, 10 months and 15 days. Tim lived with his parents in Texola, Oklahoma while attedning school in Erick through the 6th Grade. In November of 1985 they moved to Gotebo, Oklahoma, and later to Reydon, Oklahona in 1988 where Tim finished his Sophmore and Junior Year. In August of 1990, Tim moved with his parents to Shamrock where he was a defensive conernback for the Shamrock High School Football team. He was a member of the Future Faremrs of America for 3 yearsx, 4-H for 6 years and had lettered in member of the 4-H High Adventure Team that attended Philmount Scout Camp where they back packed and hiked for 10 days in the New Mexico Mountains each year. He was a member of the Academic Bowl Team at Reydon, was an American Academic Scholar, listed in the Who's Who of American High Schools for Science and Math. He had placed 2nd in the State of Oklahoma for computer application, and 10th year before in computer programming. In track he placed 10th in the Northwest District of Oklahoma in the 100 yard dash. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Reydon and was baptized in the Texola Baptist Church in 1980. He is survived by: his parents, Marvin and Marlene Gamble of Shamrock, Texas; 1 brother, John Gamble of Amarillo, Texas; 2 sisters, Danyelle Gamble and Andrea Gamble, both of the home; his paternal grandparrents, J.M. and Eunice Gamble of Texola, Oklahoma; his maternal grandparents, F.M. and Kathleen Brunson of Amarillo, Texaas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services were in the Erick First Baptist Church on Sunday, October 14, 1990 at 2:30 p.m. with Charlie Floyd and Norman Rushing officiating. Interment was in the Erick Cemetery, Erick, Beckham County, Oklahoma under the direction of Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home.
