She married Cecil LaFever in 1936 in Hobart, Oklahoma and to this union, two daughters were born. Jennie later married Burt "Cate" Guenzel on September 11, 1967 in Erick, Oklahoma. She attended the First Baptist in Erick. Jennie will be remembered in the Kiowa Washita and Roger Mills counties, having worked in the Agriculture, Stabilization offices in these counties for many years. She enjoyed keeping up with the latest current events, reading, sewing and her beautiful artwork. Most of all, Jennie loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Alice Armstrong and Leata Belle Harris; 2 brothers, Neil Ellis and Ward Ellis Survivorsw include her husband, Burt "Cate" Guenzel, Erick, Oklahoma, 2 daughters, Kay Taylor ande her husband Barry, Marlow, Oklahoma; Jeanean Davis and husband Ronnie, Kingsland, Georgiqa; 2 sisterts, Evalee Stoup, May, Texas; Beaulah Brown, Coleman, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Services for Jennie Guenzel were held Monday, April 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Erick, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Mark Turvaville. Burial was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home of Lone Wolf.
