Rev. Richard G. Benefield, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Cheyenne, officiated. That afternoon, at 3:00 p.m. a graveside service was conducted by Rev. Benefield, in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Okllahoma. Jerry Wayne Gaaynor was born November 28, 1942, in Elk City, Oklahoma. He passed away suddenly February 11, 1973. He was 30 years of age. Jerry was affiliated with the Methodist Church of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Mr. Gaynor is survived by his wife, Diana, of the home, and by four children: Michael Wayne, Terry Sue, Leta Mae, and John Franklin. He is also survived by his father, Archie, of Norman; a twin brother Terry, of the home; by a half-brother, David of Albuquerque, New Mexico; by two sisters: Mrs. Mona Estes of Cleburne, Texas and Mrs. Barbara Myers of El Reno. Also by a step-sister, Terry Kay Taylor, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; by two grandmothers: Mrs. Elizabeth Gaynor, of Norman and Mrs. John C. Casady of Cheyenne; and by other relatives and friends. Scroggins and Son Funeral Home of Cheyenne was in charge of arrangements.
